The Greenlee Family Foundation is seeking grant requests from qualified non-profit organizations for programs / projects that focus on the following funding areas with an emphasis to promote individual self sufficiency.

Leadership Programs

Individual Development Accounts

Employment Programs

Vocational Training

Technical Assistance
The Greenlee Family Foundation's typical grants range in size of $1,000-10,000.
Requests may be for technical assistance, staffing, board education, or other capacity building initiatives; specific projects or programs or general operating support as long as the organization and mission meets the focus area described above. We also offer non-monetary technical support to the nonprofit sector whose mission may or may not fit with our funding guidelines. This support includes capacity building, strategic planning, board development, and resource development planning. Please look under the technical support link for more information.
What we do not fund:
Due to the limited funds available for distribution, the Greenlee Family Foundation reserves the right to refuse inquiries in the following categories:

Grants or loans to individuals

Capital campaigns
-
Endowments
-
Religious activities or programs that serve specific religious groups or denominations.
Faith based organizations may submit inquiries if the project falls within our guidelines

Museums
The Greenlee Family Foundation also funds special projects / programs through trustee discretionary grants that may or may not fall within the foundation's guidelines. Proposals for these special projects are by invitation only. Unsolicited proposals are not accepted. These special projects / programs are of special interest of individual trustees and grants paid are from discretionary funds allocated to trustees.
