The Greenlee Family Foundation believes that we can have an impact even though its grantmaking resources are very limited. We typically focus on smaller, grassroots organizations that are located in the Denver Metro area including Boulder and Broomfield Counties. We also prefer to partner with agencies that use their resources wisely, invest time and money in developing good business practices, train and support their boards of directors and volunteers as ambassadors of their mission, and stay focused on their vision.
While keeping with this mission, we have changed our style of grantmaking. The Greenlee Family Foundation has decided to focus on funding areas related to promote individual self sufficiency with an emphasis on direct service programs.
In addition to our funding areas, we also fund special projects / programs through trustee discretionary grants that may or may not fall within the funding areas. Proposals for these special projects are by invitation only. Unsolicited proposals are not accepted.
